Groove Therapy - 16th May 2014

This episode kicks off with a selection of classic Soul funk from the likes of Leon Haywood, Debarge, and Ahmad Jamal before taking a trip into the 80s. Kool Chip's Jazz It Up has got to be one of my most favorite early Hip Hop tracks - a tune that reminds me of the days when I used to collect radio shows from Chuck Chillout and Red Alert on cassettete. Things get real smooth towards the end of the mix, with the delicate soul stylings of the Noisettes and SWV.
