Rod Temperton might be the greatest song writer of the modern age who was largely unknown to the general public. Not only was he responsible for penning Michael Jackson's biggest hits (including Thriller), he worked intimately with Quincy Jones to establish the iconic sound of the Quest label, and worked with some of the biggest names in the industry creating a huge catalog of amazing records and number one hits.

A soulful episode featuring the welcome return of Bell Biv Devoe, who just released a brand new tune after a long fifteen year hiatus.

A bumper episode for this latest podcast, with a mix that runs almost two and half hours. I was contemplating splitting this up into two separate mixes, but it was such fire that I just couldn't decide where to do the split. So put a good pot of coffee on the burner, and soak in the heavy vibes. This one is a killer!

I play a new track from the Bag Raiders, which is a name perhaps not normally associated with the sounds of this podcast, but provides a nice precursor into some heavy club territory.
